Years of Experience: Preferred 1 to 2 years' experience in engineering, computer science, information technology, or related fields.

Education: Preferred minimum of Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or related fields. Experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

Required Qualifications:• Experience with Microsoft Windows or Linux Operating System installation and configuration, including driver troubleshooting and OS enhancements, and software installation• Detail oriented with the ability to follow written procedures and document progress on tasks• Experience working with issue management systems to create, triage, and track issues• Familiarity with performing quality assurance checks on computer systems• Organized and on-time with ability to follow thru on tasks and work in a structured process environment• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:• Experience working with high-end workstations, laptops, network hardware, internal cards like frame grabbers and external accessories like printers, monitors, touchscreens, etc.• Familiarity with Word, Visio, and similar documentation tools• Familiarity with writing and running test procedures• Capable of producing polished, detail-oriented written technical documentation• Familiarity with OS patching• Familiarity with software revision control system

• Deployment, maintaining, and testing of systems• Entry level• 0-2 years' experience with Bachelor's; 4+ years of experience with no degree• Configuration and installation of software to computer systems• Creating tracking updating issues• Quality and testing assurance checks• Development of processes for deployment and testing of processes• MS Office and documentation systems experience preferred• Able to follow written protocol required• Windows and Linux operating systems experience highly preferred• Detail orientated• Update and track issues, need good documentation skills

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.04 per hour

Experience:

• Windows or Linux Operating System installation: 1 year (Preferred)
• Desktop support: 1 year (Preferred)
• workstations, laptops, network hardware: 1 year (Preferred)
