```Overview```
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation operations and ensuring the efficient movement of goods. If you have excellent organizational skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.
```Duties```
- Knowledge of rates and ability to plan trips from the beginning to the end;
- Knowledge of any other languages is a big plus;
- Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, Adobe, PC Miler, Google maps, etc.;
- Must know load boards - DAT and Truck Stop
- Coordinate and schedule transportation activities, including assigning drivers and vehicles
- Monitor routes and track the progress of deliveries
- Communicate with drivers to provide instructions and updates
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including driver logs and delivery reports
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize transportation efficiency
- Utilize transportation management systems for data entry and tracking purposes
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience in dispatching or transportation management preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Proficient in data entry and computer systems, including transportation management software
- Knowledge of supply chain operations and logistics processes
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with phone systems and phone etiquette
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with 3PL (third-party logistics) providers is a plus
