Job description
Our practice is in search of a full-time medical assistant. We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic person who is willing to go the extra mile for a patient.
All candidates must be available Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm to be considered for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with patients and visitors in a friendly, positive, caring and cheerful manner.
- Assisting Physician with clinical procedures.
- Obtaining vital signs
- Verify patient information, recording medical history, and confirming purpose of visit
- Clean and stock exam rooms/maintain inventory for exam rooms
- Cross train as a front desk receptionist and be able to perform all duties.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Dependable
- Cheerful and outgoing personality.
- Experience working as a team member in a healthcare environment.
- Medical office experience.
- Comfortable administering vaccinations.
- Excellent organizational skills/ strong attention to detail.
- Highly motivated to work and a quick learner.
- Professional appearance.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- EMR experience a PLUS
