Job Summary

Reporting to the Executive Director of IT, this position is a member of the leadership team for the department and assists with setting internal IT practices as well as works to identify opportunities for efficiency and maintaining a strong high-performing team that is well-respected throughout Cornell.

The Associate Director of Enterprise Systems manages a team of IT professionals who focus on the daily administration and development of applications and data integrations used throughout the college and the Statler Hotel. They champion the use and development of enterprise solutions including Salesforce used for MBA admissions, academic and faculty management, and corporate relations for the office of external relations and multiple centers and institutes.

As a member of the Statler Hotel executive committee, this individual will work with the hotel systems staff to guide the hotel through a digital transformation that began three years ago and continues today, bringing modern hospitality focused IT solutions to the staff and guests of this iconic property.

This individual will also lead the data analytics strategy for the college and coordinate with college stakeholders and other university colleagues to build a modern analytics architecture capable of producing data-driven insights.

Finally, the Associate Director of Enterprise Systems will supervise projects and initiatives, drive change throughout the organization, implement best practice standards for their team, as well as continue to implement a three-year IT strategic plan to reduce technical debt.

* The Associate Director of Enterprise Systems and Data Strategy is required to be on site four days a week and may work from home one day of the week.
