Senior Programmer Analyst
Applause App Quality, Inc. (Framingham, MA) seeks Senior Programmer Analyst.
Telecommuting is permitted.
The Senior Programmer Analyst will maintain and improve software. Responsible to:
- Design and develop test automation scripts and automated tests.
- Perform in-sprint test automation and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
- Record test results and report and verify software bug fixes to accept automation criteria.
- Analyze, enhance, and deploy test frameworks.
- Conduct web service testing including Web Service performance testing for app components.
- Identifying the test cases (manual and automated).
- Perform Functional Testing with app components in different environments.
- Review Functional Design Docs and create Test Plan & Cases from requirements.
- Execute test cases for creation and activation of various customer account types.
- Perform Cross Browser and Cross Platform testing, and do New Component/Feature testing.
- Create and execute SQL queries.
- Create, report, and track bugs (lifecycle), and check status of projects with blocker bugs.
- Present Component overview, UI walkthrough to PMs, QA team and Release Engineers.
- Attend meetings for: product features (with PMs and engineers), test case review, pair/DB testing, usability, design reviews, and team.
- Develop project schedules, communication plans, routines for status updates to leaders, and identify risks and share with stakeholders.
- Work cross-functionally to identify efficiency projects and quantify the resource savings.
- Support resource forecasting, cost modeling and budgeting for complex engineering projects; manage framework to make recommendations on way to deploy finite resources.
- Run A11y tests on mobile and web to ensure the product meets GAR5 standards.
Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree (or the foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Five (5) years of work experience designing, developing, and implementing test plans, test cases, and test processes in client/server web based and mobile applications.
- Three (3) years of experience executing test scripts, analyzing test results, and managing defects utilizing bug tracking tools, including Testtracker, Buganizer, and Jira.
- Three (3) years of experience performing functional, regression, and browser testing using Linux and legacy OS’s, UAT, Scenario Builder, ADB, UI Automator, Android Studio, and XCode.
- Three (3) years of experience in Automation Web UI test cases using Selenium Webdriver, Java, JSON, TestNG, Appium, Earlgrey, Rapid, Guitar, Tap, CI/CD tools, SQL, and configuration languages.
