This role involves performing new connections, reconnects, and service upgrades or downgrades. You will be working in various locations including Detroit, Ann Arbor, Port Huron, and more, with opportunities to travel to Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana. Responsibilities

• Perform new connections, reconnects, add outlets, install and remove converters, and perform service upgrades and downgrades.
• Use small hand tools, power tools, and test equipment to ensure service operates within prescribed parameters.
• Read signal levels through the use of a field strength meter, solve installation problems, and maintain proper clearances.
• Climb poles, ladders, or other structures as needed, and lift and carry loads up to 75lbs.
• Work within limited confines, such as crawl spaces.
• Identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived problems.
• Drive company vehicle between home/office, warehouse, and work sites in a safe and courteous manner.
• Maintain and stock vehicle and equipment to be prepared to perform required duties.
• Complete paperwork accurately, and report and record work order status updates.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a background and drug screening
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
• Ability to carry a 28ft ladder from truck to pole
• Ability to work in tight spaces such as a crawl space of a house or attics
• Ability to climb over 28 feet
