The Position:
We are looking for a Full-Time Massage Therapist in our Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Clinics. Must have massage therapist license to practice in Virginia, BLS/CPR, Salary is commensurate with your experience. New graduates with sports massage experience are encouraged to apply. Some of our expectations are that after 90 days (about 3 months) your caseload average should be 5 clients per day, you have less than 10% no show and cancellation rate, and you are happy and love working for the company.
The successful candidate can provide adjunct services and independent massage therapy within AID Performance Physical Therapy. The Massage Therapist will display the highest level of client service and continually meet and/or exceed service and retail sales objectives. A Massage Therapist is a critical link in ensuring that our customers' experience is nothing less than outstanding!
The Tasks/Responsibilities:
Provide Exceptional client experience
Work with the therapist to help enhance the care of all the clients
Maintain client base
Elicit feedback from your massage therapy services and respond accordingly
Provide safe, suitable, and effectual massage techniques
Perform therapeutic massages of soft tissues and joints. May assist in the assessment of range of motion and muscle strength or propose client therapy plans.
Provide clients with guidance on stretching, strengthening, overall relaxation, how to improve their posture, and body mechanics.
Comply with all procedural guidelines pertinent to massage therapy and interact nicely with all guests
Explain method and applicable techniques appropriately prescribed to meet all customer needs as well as preferences
Maintain confidentiality as well sensitivity related to age plus gender during client interactions
Uphold clinic values
Actively follow-up with patients
Willingness to participate in workshops, off site events/tournaments, social media
Provide comfortable plus relaxing experience to all guests
Assist in upselling all products and procedures that would help the client meet all their desired goals and outcomes

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Valid Virginia Massage License
High school diploma or GED
New graduates are welcome to apply
CPR/AED certification
