Job Description Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for leadership of our Imaging Systems Software platforms team focusing on X-ray Modality NPIs and Imaging System Software platforms. You will lead an experienced team of software engineers and architects to deliver software for various X-ray product programs & aligned Imaging SW Platforms deliverables focusing on subsystems that involve X-ray image acquisition, hardware abstraction, including all detector and generator interactions, using platform software common to Mobile & Fixed segments.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Functional leadership of the team, including recruitment, team/talent development, skill set improvement, mentoring and growing engineers in technical career path.
Setting the software platform direction and strategy for X-ray hardware abstraction and detector communications
Resource assignment to programs and prioritization according to base cost budget
Driving the adoption of Scaled Agile Framework and cadence-based software development
Driving rigorous customer centric development approach and software quality
Leading change through creative solutions to product and system design issues
Optimizing team’s participation in all phases of product development
Collaborating with global teams to ensure consistent strategy to fulfill X-ray business goals
Exploring and leveraging synergies with other imaging modalities (WH, CT, MR, etc.) to advance a Imaging Software platform goals.
Be an integral part of the Imaging Systems Software functional leadership team and X-Ray Modality Software’s operational leadership team.
Align on strategy & execution with the Imaging System Software functional organization & X-ray Modality Software leadership to structure, organize & deliver quality & timely software as per the defined plans.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or STEM major.
10 + years in software product development including software design and development
5 + years in team leadership, project management or direct or indirect people leadership experience
Desired Characteristics
Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or STEM major.
Experience in Healthcare Software Development
Extensive experience with Agile software methodologies like SCRUM, Continuous Integration.
Experience in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
7+ years relevant industry experience preferably in a regulated software industry.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally
Demonstrated project leadership and/or people management skills
Proven mentoring and coaching abilities; demonstrated ability to motivate & inspire others
Excellent communication, influencing skills and ability to gain buy-in for initiatives

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $130,560.00-$195,840.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
