As a Plumbing Apprentice, you'll work closely with experienced Plumbing Technicians, gaining hands-on experience and learning the ins and outs of installing and maintaining plumbing systems. We're looking for individuals who are driven, career-oriented, and eager to master the trade, ultimately becoming full-time technicians and taking ownership of their careers.
What you'll do:
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand plumbing system requirements.
- Collaborate with the plumbing team to ensure projects are completed on time while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
- Develop skills in various plumbing techniques, such as soldering, brazing, threading, and pipe fitting.
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and propose effective solutions.
- Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery used in plumbing installations and repairs.
- Embrace safety protocols and best practices to ensure a secure work environment.
- Continuously enhance your technical skills and industry knowledge through on-the-job training and relevant programs.
What you'll bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent (completion of G.E.D. is acceptable).
- Basic understanding of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and customers
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Pay up to $25 an hour based on experience
The Plumbing Apprentice position requires physical abilities such as lifting up to 50 pounds, good vision, and the ability to manipulate tools. The work environment involves exposure to moving parts, occasional exposure to hazardous elements, and adherence to strict safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all employees and the public.
