Job description
Technology Governance/Risk Analyst
Midvale Utah
Contract
Experience Required: 7-10 years
Comfortable with candidate with Hybrid - 4 day onsite and 1 day remote.
Roles And Responsibility:
Work with process owners across the enterprise to update cloud related standards, risks, and controls.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the success and effectiveness of the cloud migration strategy, regularly reporting progress to senior leadership.
Actively maintain cloud controls, mapping to industry standard frameworks (e.g., CSA Cloud Controls Matrix) and internal risks, standards, and controls.
Work with Engineering teams to build required technical controls.
Skills Required:-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP preferred), cloud native services, and hybrid cloud solutions.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate challenges and make informed decisions in a dynamic environment.
Knowledge of cloud security practices and compliance requirements coupled with experience in developing controls and supporting risk frameworks.
Knowledge of risk and governance frameworks.
Experience writing and updating controls.
Experience working with cost management tools or models (buy and/or build).
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
