Dungarvin is seeking to hire a dedicated and compassionate Program Director to support people with developmental disabilities in our Behavioral Adult Day Program located in Rohnert Park! We develop opportunities for stimulating, productive, purposeful and meaningful experiences for the people we serve as well as our dedicated team of employees. We offer activities on-site, as well as outings and participation in local community events. Job Description
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Overall operations of the Day Program.
- Community integration. Plan and organize special events and outings for program participants.
- Compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures. Developing and monitoring quality services to the people we serve.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Hiring, training, and supervision of staff.
- Collaborate with our consultants, families, and caregivers to develop Individual Service Plans (ISP) and the coordination of behavioral supports.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Budget management, managing supplies, and equipment.
- Payroll and scheduling.
- Monitor and document participant progress and behavior, and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders and business partners.
- This position is on-call at all times during program operations unless prior arrangements have been made for someone of comparable authority to receive calls.
Qualifications
- Candidates must have either a Bachelors degree in psychology, social work or related human services field and a minimum of 1 year experience in the management of a human services delivery system OR 3 years experience in a human services delivery system including at least 1 year in a supervisory position and 2 years of experience or training in one of the following:
- Care and supervision of individuals served in a licensed adult day program or an adult day health care facility.
- Care and supervision of one or more of the categories of persons to be served by the day program.
- Experience working with Community Care Licensing and knowledge of Title 17 and Title 22 regulations.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Physician's clearance and TB test clearance
WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD FIT:
- Ability to work FT schedule with flexibility to accommodate various program, individual and staff needs.
- Experience with writing ISP and program plans preferred in a day program setting.
- Experience working with persons with disabilities in a day program setting.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude towards individuals with disabilities.
