As the Brand Marketing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in executing our brand strategy and ensuring the success of our marketing initiatives across multiple brands. You will report directly to the Vice President of Corporate & Digital Marketing and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive brand activations and new marketing campaigns. This position will have the opportunity to shape brand perception, drive customer engagement, and contribute to organizational growth. This role requires a creative thinker with an understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and a passion for building and strengthening brand identities.
This is a hybrid role, out of our Cary, NC office.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand Strategy Support:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help define and refine the brand's positioning, values, and messaging
- Support market research efforts to identify opportunities, trends, and consumer preferences that can inform brand strategy
Campaign Planning and Execution:
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote the brand across various channels, including digital, social media, traditional media, and events
- Coordinate media buying
Content Creation and Management:
- Generate high-quality and engaging content, including copywriting, visuals, and multimedia elements
- Maintain brand consistency across all communication channels and ensure content adheres to brand guidelines
Brand Reputation Management:
- Partner with business and digital marketers to garner positive word of mouth and brand perception through brand and product reviews
- Develop and implement brand reputation management plans to increase brand awareness, engagement, and community building
Collaboration and Relationship Building:
- Work closely with internal teams, including product development, sales, and customer service, to align brand initiatives with overall business goals
- Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, influencers, and stakeholders to enhance brand visibility
Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, using key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate effectiveness
- Provide regular reports and insights to leadership, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
- Proven experience (3+ years) in brand marketing or a related role
- Strong understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in using marketing tools, analytics, and digital platforms
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work in a matrixed organization and collaborate with cross-functional teams
