Job description
We are currently seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer with acute for-profit hospital experience and proficiency in both Spanish and English. This is an excellent opportunity to oversee the financial operations of a hospital in Miami-Dade County, with potential for future leadership roles managing multiple hospitals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
MBA, MHA, and/or CPA designation strongly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience at the CFO level.
Experience in acute care settings with stand-alone, for-profit hospitals.
Strong understanding of hospital operations, capable of providing leadership alongside the Chief Nursing Officer in the absence of the President.
Compensation:
Our client is offering a competitive base salary ranging from $210,000 to $225,000, in addition to a bonus package.
Responsibilities:
Manage the financial affairs of the hospital in accordance with corporate and hospital policies.
Ensure compliance with various government regulatory requirements.
Plan, organize, and direct the fiscal services departments, including the development, interpretation, coordination, and administration of hospital policies related to finance, accounting, insurance, financial/accounting systems, internal controls, and auditing.
