Job description

The Law Office of Ligori & Ligori is looking for the next super Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal.

• Assist with scheduling depositions, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations as needed.
• Prepare cases for trial and attend with attorneys throughout the trial.
• Drafting, organizing, reviewing, and filing Requests for Admissions, Requests for Production, and Interrogatories to opposing parties.
• Managing, drafting, and reviewing discovery responses timely and efficient.
• Draft pleadings, motions, complaints, and orders.
• Will work under the supervision of assigned attorneys.
• Maintain and follow up on all Non-Party production documents including Requests for Copies and non-party logs.
• Maintain and organize the file as needed and instructed.
• Provide legal support to personal injury attorneys and other paralegal staff as needed.
• Knowledge of the E-filing system on both the State and Federal levels.
• Contact clients, judges, and opposing counsel.

• $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year.
• Plus, potential for monthly bonuses.
• 1 week paid vacation after 6 months.
• 2 weeks paid vacation after one year.
• 3 weeks of paid vacation after two years.

Qualifications:

• Five or more years experience as a Florida plaintiff personal injury litigation paralegal.
• Florida Bar Registered Paralegal (FRP).
• Prepared attorney and case for trial
• Attended at least 3 jury trials with an attorney and helped the attorney through the verdict.
• The candidate must have a 2-year paralegal degree.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Self-starter and self-motivated, able to meet deadlines.
• Strong work ethic and excellent organizational skills.
• Exemplary tenure with previous employers.
• Must pass pre-employment screening
• Bilingual (Spanish-English) is a plus.
