Job description
NDS is seeking a motivated individual for our newly expanded Freight Coordinator position. This person will be responsible for building carrier relationships to best service our growing freight needs. Key responsibilities include sourcing, rate negotiation, scheduling, document preparation and tracking. This is a collaborative role working alongside our Sales and Operations teams.
The right candidate will be persuasive and flexible, work well under tight time constraints and possess the ability to trouble shoot in the moment. The ability to handle issues after hours, on occasion, may be necessary. This is a full time, in person position with full benefits. Office hours are M- F, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
