Adecco has a job opening for a Mailroom Specialist in Schenectady, NY. The job requires working Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm with a pay rate of $20.00 an hour.
Work Location: Flexible; Not in Office.

Job Description:
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to opening mail, data entry, prepping documents for imaging, imaging documents, and processing outgoing. Monitoring incoming mail with an anticipated annual volume of at least 2,000 pieces from tax authorities for current and historic businesses
Responsibilities:
Collect mail daily from the Schenectady, NY post office (Zip Code 12301)
Open, stamp, and sorting mail by correspondence type (Payroll, Sales and Use, State Income, IRS, etc.)
Scanning notices and envelopes, recording the date of receipt, and uploading all files to the digital repository for processing by staff.
Send hard copies of notices via overnight mail with any checks prioritized on the top of the stack.
