Committed to facilitating unprecedented access to near-Earth celestial bodies, they aim to enable resource harvesting and scientific inquiry.
They are hiring a Senior Systems Engineer to spearhead the complete systems lifecycle, ensuring robustness, scalability and effectiveness within their systems architecture. This pivotal role will significantly contribute to steering their spacecraft systems engineering teams toward success, ensuring strict compliance with the highest technical benchmarks.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will lead spacecraft systems engineering teams, offering technical oversight and expertise.
You will be responsible to drive requirements analysis, design synthesis and the creation of design documentation.
Ensure technical performance, quality and adherence to established processes.
Conduct design reviews for internal and external stakeholders.
Assist in scheduling, budget planning, risk management and team coordination for projects/programs.
Participate in new business development initiatives and demonstrate technical capabilities.
Skillset:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field.
Minimum of ten years of systems engineering experience, emphasizing complex system design and maintenance.
Proven leadership in senior or lead roles, deep knowledge of systems architecture, hardware, software and networking.
Familiarity with space-appropriate materials, manufacturing processes and qualification standards.
Leadership abilities in steering technical vision and contributing effectively to integrated product teams.
Experience in Digital Engineering, Model Based Systems Engineering, and spacecraft systems for diverse orbits and missions.
Active Secret or Top-Secret US DoD clearance.
Salary: $140-190k DOE
