Customer Service Representative (CSR/Cashier) - Overnights

Qik N EZ is seeking Customer Service Representatives in your local market of Springfield, IL!

Qik N EZ is a family-owned convenience store chain with 12 locations serving over 2 million customers in 6 cities. Customer Service Representatives are responsible for providing outstanding customer service while maintaining store cleanliness, stocking inventory and focusing on safety.

Pay Rate: $15.40-$15.95 per hour
Location: Springfield, IL
Available Shifts: Overnights 10PM-7AM

Status: Part time

Job Responsibilities

• Keeping the store clean, stocked, organized and ready to serve customers
• Providing excellent customer service at all times
• Preparing hot and cold food items for sale
• Suggestively selling to every customer based on their needs
• Operating the cash register and other in-store equipment as appropriate
• Maintaining a clean and safe parking lot free of debris
• Communicate effectively with customers, team members and management
• Follow all policies regarding carding for alcohol, tobacco and gaming

Requirements and Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• Ability to consistently show up to work on-time and as scheduled
• Honest and friendly with a great work ethic
• Self-motivated and able to complete tasks consistently as required
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to multi-task with a team and individually
• Demonstrates flexibility with work hours and availability

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to squat, bend and use a step stool or ladder
• Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
