Job description
Active Directory Administrator (Hybrid Harrisburg, PA)
We are currently looking for an Active Directory Administrator for our client, a Commonwealth of PA entity. The selected candidate will have to work with the Security Team, Core Network Team, SCCM Team, Workstation Support Teams, Mobile Device Management Team, Trainers, and other state agencies as required.
This is a 40-hour/week, 6-month project (Extension Likely for another year), Hybrid in Harrisburg, PA. This position is onsite for orientation and the first week, but then is 98% hybrid as there are times when onsite in Harrisburg, PA is required for a day or so. Local candidates in the Harrisburg area would be preferred.
This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
Responsibilities:
Support for teams requiring AD support.
LDAP integration, Certificates, Group Policy Admin, Domain Controller deployment and support, custom schema extensions, ADFS, PKI, and DNS, user logon scripts.
Responsible for domain upgrade projects.
Compose scripts to automate system administrative tasks. Compose scripts for reporting
Work with other IT support teams to troubleshoot issues related to authentication.
Skype for Business video, meetings, collaboration support
OneDrive for Business support, and execute department plans/migration of user data
Exchange Online support and documentation
Documentation and support for Office365 SharePoint Online and Delve
Documentation and support of Office Mobile Apps on mobile devices
PST Migration migration support and documentation as the department migrates PST data to online mailboxes (network upload or drive shipping)
Subject matter expert for implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions to support the department's effort to integrate with Azure Application Integration and Data/Analytics Solutions
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of experience supporting and deploying complex Active Directory Domain Services
Strong scripting skills (VB Script, PowerShell)
Hands-on experience with the following: AD schema extensions, promoting new domain controllers, designing and building new Active Directory services.
Troubleshooting replication, and firewall configuration requirements for domain/domain client communications.
Advanced group policy administration (WMI filtering, setting precedence, item-level targeting), and OU design and delegation.
