The Goddard Library of Clark University seeks a dynamic and innovative professional to serve as Access Services and Outreach Librarian. This position will play a central role in shaping and expanding our outreach programs while managing borrowing, curricular resource support, and inter-library loan at Clark University in collaboration with departmental colleagues in the library and campus partners.  Reporting to the Head of Instruction, Research, and Access, this role provides leadership related to promoting the services, resources, and spaces of the library through social media engagement, programming, displays and other outreach strategies. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to outreach and will be able to develop and implement programs that reach under-served populations, including but not limited to students with learning accommodations, first-generation college students, international students, and BIPOC students.  

The Access Services and Outreach Librarian coordinates a dedicated team of over twenty student staff to deliver front line information services including borrowing services, inter-library loan, course reserves, study room coordination, and our growing Library of Things and helps ensure seamless access to resources and services that enhance the educational experience at our institution.
