IT Fulfillment Technician
Job Description:
Our "globally recognized" client is seeking a capable, hardworking individual to join their dynamic team as an IT Fulfillment Center Project Specialist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and executing IT-related projects within their state-of-the-art fulfillment center. They are looking for individuals who are IT knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and adept at following processes and tasks to ensure seamless project implementation.
Responsibilities:
Execute IT Project Tasks: Carry out assigned IT project tasks related to the fulfillment center's operations. This includes hardware/software installations, system configurations, and network setups
Project Planning & Coordination: Collaborate with IT project managers and team members to plan and coordinate project activities. Ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget
Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for fulfillment center IT systems, including servers, networks, and software applications
Process Adherence: Follow established processes, protocols, and standards to maintain the integrity and security of IT systems. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry best practices
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, configurations, and changes. Generate regular reports on project status, milestones, and outcomes
Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks and testing on IT systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance. Identify and address any issues or discrepancies promptly
Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including warehouse operations, logistics, and IT support, to achieve project goals and deliver exceptional results
Education Requirements:
Desired Background/Skills:
2+ years of relevant IT fulfillment experience
Familiarity with inventory, shipping and receiving and logistics is a prefererred
Ability to follow directions and shift priorities as needed
Technical degree preferred but not required
Ability to work independently
Qualifications:
IT Knowledge: Proficient understanding of IT systems, networks, and technologies. Experience with hardware installations, software configurations, and troubleshooting
Project Management Skills: Ability to manage and execute project tasks effectively. Experience with project planning, task coordination, and timeline management
Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in executing tasks and documenting procedures
Process Adherence: Familiarity with following established processes, protocols, and standards in an IT environment
Problem-Solving Abilities: Capacity to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and convey technical information clearly
Team Player: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to a positive and productive work culture
