**Preferred location for this position is in AZ, CA, TX, or wilingness to relocate**
Pay Range: $150-$175k DOE
- Works with Culinary Directors and Executive Directors to implement standard operational procedures for the dining area and kitchen to achieve the desired experience by residents and guests.
- Responsible for the development of new menu’s, menu cycles, and signature recipes
- Integrates the Savor Dining and Empowered Living programs into all aspects of the culinary experience.
- Works with Executive Directors to support the community to develop action plans to improve resident and guest satisfaction as needed, as well as sharing best practices across the organization.
- Supports the Culinary services budgeting process for all communities.
- Trains Culinary Services leadership and staff on core dining programs and standards
- Supports the CD to meet/exceed annual dining services operating expenses and revenue goals.
- Functions as a community Culinary Director when needed.
- Demonstrates Culinary Expertise and the ability to create development opportunities for CDs, chefs and cooks within the organization around culinary expertise.
- Assists in planning and opening of new communities.
- Assists Executive Directors in the sourcing, selection and on-boarding of the culinary staff and supports culinary staff hiring as needed
- Supports the company’s strategies and demonstrates the company’s Core Values and Mission Statement
- Supports the sustainability, remodeling and renovation process for culinary areas to ensure achievement of sales, revenue, and satisfaction goals.
- Performs other duties as required.
- College degree required.
- A Culinary degree required and a Certified Executive Chef (CEC) a plus.
- A degree in hospitality management or similar is preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in dining services management.
- Experience in senior living management and multi-site experience preferred.
- Culinary Degree. Serv-Safe certified or similar knowledge and certification for sanitation.
