The Opportunity

Policy Processing Clerk - Plantation, Florida

Pay starting at $16.00 per hour

Are you l ooking for an entry-level position with the opportunity to grow?  We are seeking to add an Operations Support Associate to our team located in Plantation, Florida. In this very teachable role, an Operations Support Associate is responsible for reviewing, processing, and troubleshooting documents and policies to ensure that the back-end process of Underwriting runs smoothly. This role plays a very important part in making sure all of our i's are dotted and our t's are crossed before any policy is completed. A successful candidate will be someone with great attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and someone who is a team player. Experience in data entry or customer service is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities include:

• Review documentation for accuracy.
• Navigate between various company software
• Efficiently process the needed insurance document based on task given (including Binder, Policy, Endorsement, Inspection Reports etc.)
• Release task to the appropriate next step in the workflow.
• Perform effective communication with underwriters, underwriter assistants, agents and carriers via email and phone correspondence.
• Handle escalated issues and follow-up on outstanding issues promptly.
• Maintain/exceed daily task goals given.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D.)
• Strong customer orientation, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player with a commitment to company values
• Analytical and detail oriented; capable of multi-tasking.
• Ability to cross-train within multiple operational functions
