Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and
experienced Locums Endocrinologist Physician to join our healthcare team in
Connecticut. As a full-time Endocrinologist, you will provide comprehensive
outpatient care to patients with endocrine disorders. This position offers a

of our community through the diagnosis, treatment, and management of endocrine
conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outpatient consultations and assessments for
patients with endocrine disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on
thorough evaluations and diagnostic tests.
- Monitor and manage chronic endocrine conditions,
including diabetes, thyroid disorders, and hormonal imbalances.
- Educate patients about their conditions, treatment
options, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with our healthcare team, including
nurses, dietitians, and other specialists, to provide comprehensive
patient care.
- Attend team meetings and participate in quality
improvement initiatives.
- Share call duties with other providers in a
collaborative manner.
- 14 patients per day in the outpatient setting.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and
documentation.
- Stay updated with advancements in endocrinology and
evidence-based practices.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic
Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board certification or eligibility in Endocrinology.
- Current state medical license and DEA registration in
Connecticut.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills in
endocrinology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Willingness to collaborate and participate in
team-based care.
Schedule:
- Full-Time position, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30
p.m.
- Approximately 4 hours of administrative time per
week.
- Shared call duties
- Flexibility based on provider availability.
