Personal Lines Account Manager

? Trailstone Insurance Group is an independent insurance agency, which means we represent multiple insurance companies (40+). We are not locked into just one insurance company.

We are growing aggressively and seeking a Personal Lines Insurance Account manager.

The ideal candidate would have 2+ years of Personal Lines insurance experience in account management and customer service and be self-motivated, independent, and enjoy providing quality customer service. We will provide training and instruction as needed but will not be micromanaging your work and there is the possibility of working from home for the right individual.

Trailstone Insurance Group uses unique automated technology to take care of basic insurance requests such as Auto ID cards, EOI changes, etc., this allows our account managers to focus on taking care of clients and advising them on insurance issues. Our systems and process mean you won't be doing the mundane, boring data entry most insurance agencies have Account Managers do.

Compensation is a $36,000 base with incentives to maintain /grow books of business as well as the growth of the agency. $55,000 -$65,000 is guaranteed salary for first year. As you take on more books of business, your compensation will grow from there. There is no cap on how much you grow, the amount you do grow is based on how much you can maintain. We prefer entrepreneurial compensation plans so you never have to ask for a raise, your income will grow naturally as your managed books grow.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients through email, phone and chat messaging as needed.
• Endorse policies for clients as needed.
• Build and maintain relationships with our existing client base.
• Prepare and discuss quotes for new and existing customers.
• Document customer interactions in agency management software.

Requirements

• Property and casualty insurance license is required- with at least 2 years of insurance service or sales experience on the personal lines side.
• Working knowledge of computer software: Microsoft Office products, Dropbox, and Customer Management Software.
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening.
• Willingness to learn and be coached.
• Able to work full time- typically 9-5 but there is some flexibility on schedule.
• 5 Days a week in office
