Job Summary:
The Human Resource Specialist at DSR Motor Group will work out of our Saco, Maine offices and will assist in overseeing all human resource activities for the company's 12 locations throughout New England. This position is a full-time, individual contributor role and will report directly to the Human Resource Manager. The ideal candidate will have an interest in HR and possess excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively manage all aspects of human resources for the company. The ideal candidate should also have the knowledge and ability to quickly learn and adapt to using common software applications and internet-based management tools and programs to complete job tasks efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct new employee onboarding and orientation processes
- Establish collegial working relationships with our various hiring managers and partners
- Manage payroll processes related to new hire onboarding
- Maintain personnel records and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve HR processes and procedures
- Conduct exit interviews and provide offboarding support
- Collaborate with management team to address and resolve employee relations issues
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Human Resource Manager
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in HR, preferably in the auto industry
- Working knowledge of ADP Human Resources Suite related to Onboarding/HR
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
