Summary:

The Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) is a team of dedicated professionals providing core technology and cybersecurity services to agencies statewide, enabling state employees to serve Idaho's citizens. We sincerely hope you will consider being a part of our success!

ITS currently has multiple openings for IT Software Engineer III positions at our Chinden Office in Boise. These positions will provide software development services within the ITS software development team, developing a wide range of applications in support of state agency missions.

The selected individual must possess an in-depth knowledge of mainstream software development methods within a variety of development environments to produce quality software applications and tools including strong knowledge of the Microsoft .Net framework/CORE and associated programming languages and experience in software development methods and practices such as traditional SDLC methods, RAD and agile. Must also possess excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

This position will be an expert in software development, deployment, and management, including the ability to create and maintain extensive software documentation and interpret user and system requirements to produce professional level software.

Please note: The successful candidates will be required to pass multiple, comprehensive fingerprint-based background checks specific to the agencies ITS supports.
