Primoris T&D Is hiring Dist. A-Class / Journeyman Linemen & FULL Dist. Crews for the Denton Texas area, preferably with previous experience working on the CoServ, or Co-Op system. Primary responsibilities consist of but are not limited to: installation, maintenance and removal of overhead and underground distribution conductors and equipment. Must be able to climb poles, work on energized conductors and equipment, perform hot stick work on energized high voltage conductors, work in inclement weather, This role will perform a variety of lineman duties that involve overhead electric distribution construction, operations and maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

• Must provide your own tools and gear. Rubber Goods are assigned by company to each individual employee.
• Must be able to safely perform tasks associated with high voltage electrical lines.
• Must show proof of Lineman certification or completion of lineman school and any previous apprenticeship hours.
• Maintenance - include routine inspections, modification, installation and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and facilities.
• Construction and Installation - demonstrate climbing techniques and procedures, care and inspection of transmission structure hardware, tools, gear and various equipment, construction and installation of poles and various components. 
• Skills including digging, guying of pole structures, maintenance procedures, conductor handling/ rigging and splicing, tower erection and more. 

Basic Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record. Preferred applicants are those with a CDL- Class A driving license (and additional endorsements). 

Travel to various job site locations is required and may warrant overnight stays for long or short periods of time.

Per-Diem offer for travel outside area under IRS guidelines 

Individuals who also possess the following aptitude skills are recommended to apply:

• Willingness to function as part of a team

Candidates must be able to pass pre-employment drug tests, criminal background screenings and a motor vehicle record check. Also be able to pass an Oral and Written exam and proficiency demonstration for the job applied for.
