The Medical Technologist Blood Bank will report to the Blood Bank Supervisor. Requirements include Bachelor's degree in laboratory/medical technology science with M.T. certification, American Society for Clinical Pathology certification, and at least 2-5 years of M.T. Blood Bank working experience. 

The Blood Bank Medical Technologist Laboratory is responsible for performing manual and automated procedures to assure the safety of blood transfusions and the blood supply. The Blood Bank Medical Technologist is also responsible for duties relating to the QC/PM Programs.
