iOS Mobile Specialist (Remote - Harrisburg, PA)
We are currently looking for an iOS Mobile Specialist for our client, a Commonwealth of PA entity. The selected candidate will be working on Apple technology and iOS framework to help develop and expand an existing electronic inspection (eInspections) system.
This is a 37.5-hour/week, 6-month project (Extension Likely for another year), remote in Harrisburg, PA. Although this position is remote, the candidate will be required to pick up equipment from the client's office. Local candidates in the Harrisburg area would be preferred.
This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
Responsibilities:
Participates in project planning, including resource estimation, and in the creation and review of technical deliverables.
Works in conjunction with other technical team members in all phases of the Agile Scrum SDLC.
Responsible for serving as the designer, developer, and/or engineer on multiple mobile inspection applications. They will work with the end user stakeholders at times, various Business Analysts (BAs) and Project Managers (PMs), and other technical staff in defining and managing the business and technical requirements.
Assist in project planning, including the development of timelines. They must understand Agile Scrum methodology and participate in daily standups.
Attention to reusable components and repeatable processes is required for developing the iOS solutions utilizing, but not limited to, Objective C, Swift, JSON, XML, and consumption of RESTful web services.
Solid understanding and experience in Apple's technologies is required, including but not limited to the distribution of certificates, provisioning profiles, code signing, keychains, push notifications, app transport requirements, and iOS version histories.
Requirements:
6+ years of experience with Full SDLC experience as an application developer
5+ years of experience with Object Oriented development, iOS SDK, and Objective-C
5+ years of experience with Swift programming language and the latest IOS APIs and frameworks
5+ years of experience with Core Data framework, and relational database design and development.
4+ years of experience with IOS Auto Layout, Storyboard, Blocks, and GCD
Experience in architecting and solutions for mobile apps that consume web services
5+ years of experience with deploying iOS apps, HTML5 development, and JavaScript frameworks is highly desired.
1+ years of experience in a team leadership position, and deploying enterprise iOS apps via MDM is highly desired.
2+ years of experience with Java-centric server-side development and solutions is highly desired

Compensation: $68/hr.-$72/hr.
