Job Title: Financial Analyst

Department: Accounting

Rate of Pay: $DOE

Shift: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Monday through Friday

Full time position, year round

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly

SUMMARY

The financial analyst will play an integral role in supporting financial planning, analysis and special financial studies for the organization as well as performing general accounting functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Work with a broad based constituency and provide excellent service to all internal and external guests.

Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.

Support and comply with all Sundance policies, procedures, and standards.

Protect Sundance assets.

Be an ambassador of Sundance inside and outside of work.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Associate's Degree from a college or university in Accounting or Finance; or two years related experience in accounting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must have strong organizational and phone skills. Must be highly proficient in data entry. Attention to detail and confidentiality required.

TECHNICAL/COMPUTER SKILLS

Proficient in spreadsheet software.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
