As a key member of the Digital (IT) Leadership team, this role reports directly to the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) and lead the management of multiple portfolios supporting the Digital (IT) Strategy, Governance & Risk, Architecture, Infrastructure, Data and Finance functions. This role works closely with Digital leaders and across enterprise teams to ensure the delivery and reliability of Digital solutions and capabilities by aligning the IT vision, roadmap, and priorities with the business objectives and stakeholder expectations. The Director of CDO Office will also ensure that the Digital group operates efficiently, effectively, and securely, complying with all relevant policies, standards, and regulations.
Role & Responsibility
- Lead and manage the following teams: Digital Risk Management, which includes IT Security and Compliance; Digital Strategy; Global Enterprise Architecture; Data Engineering and Platforms; Global Infrastructure & Operations; IT Planning and Finance
- Build and maintain partnerships with all Digital functions to lead IT Strategy, Governance & Risk, Architecture, Data and Finance frameworks, processes, and policies, in alignment with the Digital and business goals
- Support and establish Global Enterprise Architecture as a recognized function and a formal discipline by clearly defining the role focus, outcomes, and responsibilities of the Enterprise architecture function
- Provide insight and guidance to CDO and Digital leaders, and other business teams, related but not limited to best practices on Portfolio management, Performance measurement, Risk management, architecture and design, innovation and transformation, data and analytics, budgeting, and forecasting, etc.
- Ensure that the Digital group adheres to the highest standards of IT security, compliance, and ethics, and follows the best practices of IT governance, risk, and control
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead cross-team collaboration and partnerships across a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Foster a culture of consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Assist in the preparation and management of Digital group’s resources, budget, expense management for optimization and effectiveness
- Monitors and reports on Digital performance targets; assesses performance vs. targets, monitors costs and drives effectiveness. Owns cost/benefit of improvements
Job Requirement
- Required education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree or a professional certification in IT management, IT governance, IT security, IT architecture, or IT finance is preferred
- At least 15 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 10 years of IT leadership experience in a large and complex organization
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in IT strategy, governance, risk, architecture, data, and finance
- Strong knowledge of the IT industry trends, best practices, standards, and regulations
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with various levels of audiences, both technical and non-technical
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically, creatively, and holistically
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand the business objectives, drivers, and challenges, and align the IT solutions and services accordingly
- Strong leadership, management, and coaching skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams, and drive results
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
