Assistant General Manager Hojoko is seeking an Assistant General Manager with a passion for servant leadership and a desire to grow within a company. The position requires strong organizational skills, superior communication skills, and the desire to develop others while having fun in the process.
Hojoko is a Japanese Tavern located in the heart of Fenway Park. Part of Cushman Concepts, a multi-concept, hospitality focused restaurant group located in Boston, this is an opportunity to join a strong team, led by 2012 James Beard Award-Winning Chef Owner Tim Cushman & Nancy Cushman.

Responsibilities:
Commit to passionately, intensely, uncompromisingly humble hospitality and high-quality guest experience.
Run successfully high-volume stores
Eager to learn and grow with an expanding concept
Help to create the systems, structure, and tools to support growth specifically around service and guest relations
Has an entrepreneurial spirit-bring ideas and a point of view to the table, not just an ability to execute what are told to do
Possess leadership skills- an ability to teach, coach and develop a large team, understanding that their success is your success.
Share their love of great food and drinks. The ideal person will be integral to continuing the development of our unique bar program, working hand-in-hand with the General Manager and Principal Bartender.
Qualifications/Skills:
Mindful to guest needs, strong sense of urgency that can respond quickly
Ability to handle interruptions and distractions without losing focus on details
Exceptional organizational & time management skills
Effective communicator one-on-one or in front of large groups
Bartender/bar management experience
Education/Experience:
2-3 years’ experience
