Job description
The General Maintenance Mechanic repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer s specifications, using hand and power tools, and testing equipment. Meets requirements as defined by applicable Department Specific Equipment Competency Checklist.
High School graduate or equivalent preferred. Vocational School graduate preferred. Minimum of 1 year experience in Hospital or Industrial maintenance, construction, etc. Oral and written skills. Familiar with general building and maintenance techniques. A valid New Jersey driver s license.
