A growing accounting and consulting company that primarily focuses on Healthcare and Construction-based companies is seeking a Remote Senior Accountant to join the firm.

Full time, W2
Location: REMOTE within the US
Compensation: $65,000- $75,000 DOE

Qualifications: - 2+ years of accounting experience
- Team leadership/review/training experience
- Accounting and payroll knowledge
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Timely and concise communicator
- Great interpersonal and customer service skills
- Enjoy coaching people
- Seeking to take on more responsibility
Skills: - Financial Statement Preparation- assist with the month-end preparation of board financial statements, utilizing different account systems related to the client's industry, reconciling and reviewing workpapers, etc.
- Communicating with clients regarding items needed for proper financial reporting.
- Special reporting requirements as they arise.
- 60-70% - Client Work (Financial Prep, & Planning)
- 10-15% - Creating Procedures, Checklists & KPIs
- 10-15% - Client Communication
- 5-10% - Reporting to Firm Management
- 5-10% - Ensuring Job Profitability
Software Experience Preferred: - QBO and QBD
- Gusto
- Xero
- Sage, a plus
