Surgery Advanced Practice Provider Locums Job in New Jersey | Seeking 7-14 Days of Coverage Per Month | ASAP Start for 6-8 Month

Coverage Needs: 
-- Coverage: ASAP start for 6-8 months of coverage, *will consider emergency/temporary privileges
-- Schedule: 7 days per week, 7:00p-8:00a shift, provider to be onsite, no beeper - cell phone used to notify when needed

Assignment Details/Requirements: 
-- Team structure: one locum covering per day, no surgical first assist in the OR
-- Volume: 15-30 patients per day
-- Procedures: VAC dressings, JP drain management, chest tube placement (preferred)
-- Manages the overnight inpatient needs of surgical patients in conjunction with, and under the supervision of an attending physician
-- Responsible for the assessment and management of various patient populations which includes the overall management of the surgical patient, performing consultations, ordering and interpretation of diagnostic testing, development of appropriate plans of care, therapeutic interventions, and as needed, intra operative assistance
-- Service line coverage would include: General Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Colorectal Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Thoracic/ENT Surgery, Head and Neck Surgery
-- Amenities: no call/sleep room, provider expected to be working the entire time
-- EMR: EPIC (+ EPIC Chat)
-- Board Certified required, Fellowship not required
-- Facility Details: 350+ bed facility, Level 1 trauma center
