Job description

We are currently seeking a Dental Consultant to join our dynamic team at our Company. In this role, you will play a vital part in contributing to a healthier community by manually reviewing claims and Treatment Authorization Requests (TARs) for California Medi-Cal members.

Responsibilities:
Review claims and TARs to ensure adherence to Medi-Cal Dental policies and procedures.
Collaborate with a team of dental consultants, providing expertise and support as needed.
Assist in training and mentoring new consultants.
Offer guidance and assistance on complex cases and claims.
Extend support to various departments when required.

Requirements:
Minimum of ten (10) years of prior hands-on, clinical experience as a dentist.
Active license to practice dentistry in CA, in good standing.
Minimum of two (2) years working within an organization providing Medi-Cal Dental services.
Demonstrated expertise and knowledge of Medi-Cal Dental criteria and program requirements.

Expectations:

Must be a resident of the state of California.
Hybrid work environment with 3 days a week in the office and remote work available.
Office located in Roseville, CA.

Compensation:
Pay range: $116,100.00 - $165,900.00 per year.
