Full-Time Day Shift

Compensation:

$68,640 - $84, 240 Annually

If so, we invite you to join our team at Amedisys, one of the largest and most trusted home health and hospice companies in the U.S. This role will travel within the North Florida market to support home health clients in these areas: Altamonte Springs, Port Orange, The Villages, Ocala, Gainesville, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Crestview and Pensacola. For these travel roles we offer an attractive salary, immediate eligibility to enroll in our fleet program, and stipends when you are more than 50 miles from home to help cover lodging, meals, and incidentals.

Responsibilities

• Travel extensively throughout assigned POD.
• Coordinates and oversees all aspects of patients' home care.
• Collaborates with patient care teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educates families on patient condition, needs and care.
• Performs head to toe physical assessments.
• Checks vital signs and manages medications.
• Gives injections, IV therapy or tube feedings.
• Administers and maintains catheters.
• Completes documentation timely and accurately.
• Supervises LPNs and HHAs .
• Regularly communicates patient progress to the clinical manager, physician and care team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Able to travel 100% of the time throughout the company by plane, train, or automobile.
• One year of nursing experience.
• Current RN license, specific to the state(s) you are assigned to work.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and liability insurance.
