Technical Program Manager Pay and Benefits:
- Hourly pay: $85-$110/hr
- Worksite: Leading professional development and networking company (Mountain View, CA 94041 - Hybrid)
- W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
- 40 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment
Technical Program Manager Responsibilities:
- Help operations teams go from fighting fires to avoiding them.
- Help teams be more efficient and also see the big picture and ensure processes scale appropriately with the company.
- Create a collaborative work environment that fosters autonomy, transparency, mastery, innovation, and learning.
- Manage and maintain project backlogs and ensure forward momentum with project execution.
- Leads effort to resolve project conflicts and establish appropriate resolution paths.
- Manage dependencies between multiple projects.
- Mentor individuals in best practices for planning and execution.
- Develop partnerships with technology and business leaders.
- Assess and mitigate risk exposure.
- Manage resource planning.
Technical Program Manager Qualifications:
- 6+ years of program management experience within an Operations or Technical department.
- B.S./B.A. in a technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in managing all phases of end-to-end product development.
- Prior experience driving the development of massive-scale distributed data platforms, recommendation and search technologies, big data pipelines, and/or analytical tools.
- Significant experience working with software engineering leadership, technical teams and individual contributors.
- Agile coaching and practitioner experience (Scrum, Kanban) with multiple teams.
- Hands-on software development experience.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple major and concurrent programs.
- Passion about being an indispensable part of a great product.
- Ability to communicate authoritatively at a sufficient technical depth.
- Passion to learn new concepts and technologies.
- Ability to build collaborations and create a community of leadership.
- Knowledge of Internet client/server social networking applications and systems.
- Knowledge of machine learning applications and platforms.
- Ability to interact one-to-one with individual technical contributors, senior leaders, as well as coaching teams.
