Job description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce metal parts and assemblies. You will work under minimal supervision to ensure precise measurements and highquality products.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines including lathes and milling machines.
- Provide direction to lowerlevel machinists and helpers.
- Program machines and perform first article inspections.
- Measure and mark dimensions on materials or workpieces.
- Select and align cutting tools fixtures and materials.
- Verify machine settings and accuracy of control data.
- Collaborate with engineers and production personnel to resolve issues.
- Monitor machine feed and speed during operations.
- Interpret blueprints and engineering information.
- Maintain accurate documentation and revise paperwork as needed.
- Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Certificate in Machine Tool Technology or one year of CNC machinery experience.
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints drawings and specifications.
- Ability to operate equipment and adhere to procedures and standards.
- Experience working with aluminum copper brass and steel.
- Strong math and computer skills including ERP systems.
- Ability to lift and carry items ranging from 10 100 pounds.
- Willingness to work extended hours as needed.
Requirements of the Mechanic: Must have recent Maintenance Mechanic experience. Must be able to safely lift 35lbs+ on daily basis. Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, training materials, schematic diagrams, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
