Job Responsibilities
The Technical Program Manager will program manage and drive all transition activities for power boxes to be outsourced, including direct to supplier and OEM transitions to low-cost regions. The goal of this dedicated role is to improve the speed and agility of supplier transitions for power boxes across all Deposition products.
- Define method to identify all Deposition power boxes in scope, determine workload required and track power box resource requirement bandwidth. Develop waterline process and cadence to incorporate DPG Accountable Executive input and prioritization.
- Create BKMs and training as needed to support all aspects of managing transitions in line with existing processes and deliverables across various LAM cross-functional teams.
- Develop and implement a matrixed process to align and leverage Program stakeholders in support of AWL (above water line) program power boxes.
- Proactively identify and obtain commitment of resources from Supplier Engineering & Supply Chain for program execution.
- Establish and chair tracking cross-functional teams for key program transition items including attendance from key stakeholders including Engineering, Program Management, Supply Chain, Suppliers, etc. Identify program risks and drive mitigation actions.
- Utilize various internal applications and other software solutions to manage, track, and report key milestones.
- Collaborate with Engineering on the development of a common power box by providing input through design process, sourcing, costing, program management and transition support.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics manufacturing; Masters/PhD preferred.
- Five (5) years’ experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated Program Management experience.
- Knowledge of manufacturing purchasing process
- Supply Chain and power box commodity knowledge
- NPI Process experience
- Familiarity with Risk Identification / Mitigation
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Deposition Equipment product knowledge
- Familiarity with Lam product development and release process & Lam problem solving and decision making process.
