The role

The role of an Optimizely (Episerver) Developer within Kin + Carta's Optimizely Platform practice is focused on crafting top-tier solutions for clients and overseeing the ongoing technical excellence of a delivery team. This position requires a profound grasp of the software development life cycle, and Optimizely's best development practices. You should be a proficient Optimizely developer, ready to tackle any technical challenge or task with assurance and effectiveness.

Role responsibilities

• Participate in the coding, testing, and debugging of Optimizely CMS websites to ensure they meet specified requirements and quality standards.
• Apply best practices in web development, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as design, analytics, product, and content.
• Engage in continuous learning to enhance technical skills and knowledge of Optimizely CMS, as well as other relevant technologies and development practices.
• Contribute to the documentation of project features and technical processes to support the maintenance and future development of projects.

Minimum qualifications

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at all levels
• Experience developing on the Optimizely CMS Platform including the Content Delivery API
• 4+ years of development experience on the Microsoft ASP.NET stack
• 2+ years of Optimizely (fornerly known as Episerver) CMS development experience
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks/libraries (React preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Familiar with Git and accustomed to standard development procedures

Preferred qualifications

• Optimizely Developer Certification highly desirable
• Openness to adapt to new scenarios and embrace challenges
• Eager to learn new technologies and development practices, with a strong commitment to personal and professional growth

Compensation

This is a full time position. The salary range offered for this position is $115,000-$145,000 annually, depending on experience.
