Job description

Nammo Defense Systems Inc., a defense contractor, manufactures and supports shoulder-fired systems; energetic material solutions such as aircraft emergency escape systems, actuation devices, rocket motors, warheads, medium & large caliber ammunitions, mortar ammunition; and composite solutions including carbon fiber tubes and composite aero-structures.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified-detail oriented professional to fill the role of Proposal Analyst. 

This position will report to the Proposal Manager

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for RFI, RFQ and RFP review, analysis, scheduling, tracking, content development, writing, compliance, preparation, and execution of various types of proposals. 
• Assist the Proposal Manager throughout the assigned proposal’s lifecycle
• Review customer RFP’s (instructions, evaluation criteria, SOW), and lead Proposal team to compile required documentation to submit quotes on time.
• Prepare project kickoff materials such as customer timelines, deliverables, and action item list.
• Schedule and lead formal proposal kickoff and status review meetings.
• Coordinate with internal functional groups to collect necessary data and track progress.
• Support technical writing for proposal volumes 
• Coordinate cost collection and accumulation, scheduling and departmental performance elements.
• Prepare, coordinate and lead Executive Pricing reviews and coordinate necessary approvals.
• Perform quality check of all proposal sections and volumes. Responsible for accuracy, compliance, schedule and quality are a strict requirement of the position.
• Ensure smooth transition to contract implementation.
• Maintain log of current proposal efforts, and coordinate with contracts on status of proposals submitted
• Manage files vested in electronic database and management systems.
• Participate proactively in improving the company proposal management processes.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Excellent knowledge with MS Office tools 
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Must be able to obtain BATF clearance
