Job description
Making A Difference Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families in need. We believe in the power of community and strive to create meaningful change through our various programs and initiatives. We are currently seeking a Volunteer/Outreach Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers for our programs and events.
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage the community and raise awareness about our organization.
- Organize and lead volunteer orientations and trainings.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to volunteers and ensure their successful completion.
- Maintain accurate records of volunteer information and activities.
- Assist with the planning and execution of fundraising events.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement volunteer recognition and retention programs.
- Represent the organization at community events, meetings, and presentations.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in volunteer coordination or community outreach.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Passionate about making a difference in the community.
- Ability to work well independently and in a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as needed.

Benefits
Benefits: Sick leave . Must have flexible schedule and be available up to 40 hours a week. Must have a valid driver's license and be insurance and able to pass a drug test. Previous experience is a plus. Please provide a cover letter outlining work experience and wage preference.
