Position Description

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a Partial Part Time Cytotechnologist for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include: receives, accessions and processes cytology specimens. Performs various fixation and staining techniques on cytopathology specimens. Examines and evaluates cell samples and documents slide interpretation results. Operates and maintains appropriate equipment required in processing of cytologic specimens.

This is a Temp partial-part-time position.

Education

Certification/License Days: Monday - Thursday

Hours: vary by day, probably between 4-6 hours but between 8 AM - 3 PM.
