Job Description:

Financial services firm based in Frisco, Texas seeks a Treasury Funding Manager to guide the effective operation of various balance sheet initiatives related to its funding management practices and strategic objectives.

2 days office based / 3 days remote 
$150K to $160K base salary + competitive bonus

Position Responsibilities:

Leads the Funding Desk in its daily activities including managing the Federal Reserve cash position, investigating customer wire activity, and producing the daily cost of funds for loan pricing.

Determines the appropriate amount of overnight borrowings such as Fed Funds, Euro deposits, and repos to achieve a strategic level of cash balances.

Evaluates opportunities and executes funding transactions such as Fed Funds, FHLB borrowings, brokered deposits, and longer-term debt to support strategic goals and initiatives.

Develops and provides funding recommendations to Funding Director.

Researches potential new funding sources.

Develops and maintains relationships with brokers, dealers, and the Federal Reserve to ensure readiness to execute across various funding channels.

Mentors team of funding analysts on various funding channels, evaluating opportunistic funding options, the evolving capital markets environment, and changing regulatory landscape.

Conducts periodic forecasts of expenses related to the wholesale funding portfolio.

Provide quotes to Relationship Managers for transactions, including cost of funds, prepayment penalties, repurchase agreements, Eurodollars, and process transactions in the accounting system.

Engages with numerous areas of the Bank to ensure accurate and consistent reporting, analysis, communication, and projection of funding position, including Financial Reporting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Investor Relations, etc.

Support funding governance/compliance process by preparing, and reviewing various reports and communications for ALCO, the Board, the Federal Reserve, and various other internal and external constituents

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in finance or Related field

8 years of Liquidity/Funding experience

6 years of experience managing medium to large projects

6 years of experience building financial models and basic knowledge of SAS and SQL is anadvantage but not essential
