Researcher 4 Location Minneapolis, MN :

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree and 2 years of related experiences or BS/BA and 4 years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in BME with experience in 3D printing, bioprinting, g-code, CAD, machine shop, soft materials, hydrogels, cell culture

Job involves working on new inventions and techniques for use in biofabrication of tissues, organs and functional biological models. Responsibilities:

75% Design and create devices and accessories for novel tissue fabrication methods, which also includes:

• Make design modifications to novel tissue fabrication devices.
• Implement design modifications to existing equipment.
• Design and implement new machine-user interfaces.
• Design and print novel bioprinted constructs.

10% Read relevant literature

10% Documentation of results, assist with manuscript writing and figure preparation.

5% meet at least weekly with PI, and lab meetings; includes presentation of project progress.
