Are you a friendly, organized, and passionate individual with a love for wine and hospitality? Our 100% DTC Winery is seeking a part-time Tasting Room Host/Wine Educator.
With a primary focus on serving and educating guests about our unique wines, your role will be essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring smooth operations in our tasting room.
In this position, you will greet guests, manage reservations, facilitate wine tastings and engage with guests to ensure an excellent experience. The ideal candidate should have strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, and a keen (and preferably developed) interest in wine.
Responsibilities:
Open and close tasting room
Greet and welcome guests to the tasting room
Manage reservations and walk-in requests
Lead tastings and providing an exceptional guest experience
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room
Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
Complete Wine Club Sign-ups
Sell wine
Qualifications:
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Genuine interest in wine and eagerness to learn
Team player with a positive attitude
Familiarity with CRM and reservation systems
Compensation:
$21-$25/hr, commensurate with experience, plus gratuities (tips often comprise up to 30% of gross pay)

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stand for long periods of time.
The employee is occasionally required to sit, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, and taste or smell.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
Other Requirements:
Employee must be at least 21 years of age.
Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification is required within 60 days of employment.
Current RBS certification is desirable though training will be provided for the right candidate.
Schedule:
Part-Time; Friday through Sunday/Monday, with potential for the right person to move to full-time
8-hour shifts every weekend and holidays
