Job Description
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and qualified Nail Technicians to join our team. As the Nail Technician, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of nail services to our clients, including, but not limited to manicures, pedicures, nail extensions, and nail art.
Required Qualifications
- Valid State nail technician license
- 2+ Years proven experience as a nail technician, with a portfolio showcasing your work
- Skilled in a variety of nail services including both manicures and pedicures
- Knowledge of nail trends, nail health care and hygiene protocols
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Physical capability of lifting up to 20 pounds
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
Responsibilities
- Nail Services: Providing high-quality nail services to clients, including manicures, gel manicures, pedicures, and gel pedicures.
- Demonstrating skill in nail care techniques, staying updated on the latest trends, and delivering excellent customer service.
- Quality Control: Ensuring that all nail services meet the salon's quality standards and customer expectations.
- Service Consultation: Consulting with clients to understand their nail care needs and preferences. Recommending appropriate nail treatments, styles, and colors based on their preferences, lifestyle, and the condition of their nails.
- Product Knowledge: Staying informed about different nail products, brands, and trends. Providing guidance to clients and other nail technicians on product selection, usage, and recommendations for optimal nail care results.
- Sanitation and Safety: Adhering to strict sanitation and safety protocols to ensure a clean and hygienic salon environment.
- Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and loyalty. Listening to client feedback, addressing concerns or complaints, and ensuring their overall satisfaction with the nail services provided.
- Inventory Management: Assisting in monitoring inventory of nail products, tools, and supplies. Communicating with the salon manager or designated staff to ensure an adequate supply of materials and restocking as needed.
- Upkeep of Workstations: Maintaining clean and organized nail workstations, ensuring that all necessary tools, equipment, and supplies are readily available. Assisting in the upkeep and maintenance of nail care equipment, such as nail files, buffers, and sterilization tools.
- Collaboration with Salon Manager: Collaborating with the salon manager on various aspects of salon operations. Providing input on service enhancements, retail product selection, and participating in team meetings to discuss salon goals and initiatives.
- Continuing Education: Actively seeking opportunities for professional development, staying updated on industry trends, and attending workshops, seminars, or industry events to enhance skills and knowledge in nail care.

Work Schedule
- The Nail Technician position is full-time, or part-time, with a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends based on the needs of the salon.
