Job Summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW) is actively seeking a talented Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic and rapidly expanding Auxiliary department within Shared Services. We are looking for an individual with exceptional communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills to provide crucial support to our leadership team. In this key role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive departmental analyses, including monthly reporting metrics, and assisting in the evaluation and preparation for potential new services. Your contributions will be instrumental in fulfilling the department’s action plan and enhancing its financial reporting and variance capabilities to deliver accurate and timely reports to division chiefs, fostering transparency and accountability. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your leadership skills by mentoring and training junior staff members. Our ideal candidate possesses proficiency in software tools such as Hyperion, SmartView, Microsoft Excel, and Access, with knowledge of Adaptive planning tool considered a plus.
